Meet The Innate Coach Team

Who is The Innate Coach?

The Innate Coach is a company, founded by Dr Helen May and Andrea Morrison, building on several years of collaborative delivery, programme design, and strategic development, as well as 30+ years of combined experience of working with businesses.

Many organisations want to create cultures that are genuinely compassionate, inclusive, and capable of bringing out the best in their people. Senior leaders can feel overwhelmed and unsupported, caught between strategic demands and disengaged teams. Traditional leadership training and coaching models focus on performance and behaviour, but rarely address the deeper human dynamics that sustain meaningful change. The Innate Coach offers an alternative: a psychologically grounded, insight-led approach that helps leaders create nurturing, resilient workplace cultures. Through our accredited training and leadership programmes, we will equip leaders to help build environments where people feel valued, connected, and empowered to reach their potential.

The Innate Coach is an accredited online coaching and mentoring training provider, providing a fresh, psychology-led alternative to traditional coach training models. Based in York but providing easily accessible, live, online training that combines cutting-edge psychological understanding, robust coaching competencies, and commercial relevance. The Innate Coach equips leaders and managers to transform their business culture through coaching and mentoring.   It inspires confidence and clarity through better conversations to enable individuals, teams and organisations to thrive and grow.
