Programme Overview
The Fundamentals of Coaching Award is an recognised coaching qualification accredited by the Association for Coaching, aiming to help you develop the mindset, confidence, and practical skills needed to coach and lead transformative conversations in the workplace.
Delivered online over four modules, this award is for you or designated members of your team, to train to be a coach. You will learn to listen deeply, ask powerful questions, and create psychologically safe spaces for growth, challenge, and reflection.
As part of the Trailblazer Employer Support Programme, this qualification strengthens your organisational coaching capability to support those at risk of disengagement, foster trust and communication, and retain valuable talent through compassionate and flexible approaches.

Commitment required:
- Attend four online sessions
- Session dates: 23rd January, 5th & 23rd February, 27th March
- Session times: 9:30am-5:00pm
- Self-study: 17 hours (split between the four modules), approximately 4 hours after each module
- Assessment: Coaching and development log, personal coaching approach, coaching reflection and written case study.
